LYT’s free half-term drama sessions for looked after children and care-experienced young people

- Who wants to get involved in the performing arts, but doesn’t know where to start?
- Do you want to meet like-minded young people from across the borough?
- Are you interested in creating and want something fun to do this half-term?
Lewisham Youth Theatre will be delivering FREE drama sessions during October Half-Term specifically for Lewisham’s looked after children & care-experienced young people aged 8 – 17.
Half-Term Session Dates
Who for? For ages 14-17 with experience in care.*
When? Monday 24th 4.30pm – 6pm

*this includes any time spent in the care of the local authority (e.g. foster care or children’s home), privately fostered, or in kinship foster care.

What will the sessions involve? Fun drama games / creative activities, a chance to meet other young people with similar interests and an introduction to LYT’s Creative Hub! All our workshops are delivered in a safe and supportive environment that nurtures wellbeing and champions your voice!
What happens after?
Through taking part in a drama session this half-term young people will have access to all opportunities at LYT.
Where will they take place? All sessions will be at LYT’s Creative Hub @ 142-144 Lewisham High Street.
