Saxon Crown Swimming Club, funded by Lewisham Council and supported by 1Life, is providing free school top-up swimming sessions to students of Lewisham primary schools. The sessions are provided to help swimmers achieve the National Curriculum standard in swimming, which requires children to swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres, use a range of strokes effectively and perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations. The sessions are for Lewisham Primary School Pupils in Year 4 and above, and will be running at Downham Health & Leisure Centre during February 2022 half term holiday on the dates below:
Monday 14 -18 February 2022
There will be four sessions per day:
12pm-12:45pm. 12:45pm-1:30pm. 1:30pm-2.15pm. 2:15pm-3pm.
